Hey There, I’m Danny Cheng.

After high school, Danny moved to San Francisco, California, to pursue an Associate of Arts degree in Humanities at City College of San Francisco and a Bachelor’s degree in Drama at San Francisco State University. While studying, he also worked as a demonstrator at a magic store on Pier 39, performing close-up magic for people from around the world who visited the shop.
In August 2016, Danny competed in San Jose at the International Brotherhood of Magicians (IBM) Ring 216 Yearly Walk-Around Competition and was awarded second place. In September 2016, he won the People’s Choice Award at the IBM Ring 216 Yearly Close-Up Competition.
In 2017, Danny was awarded first place by IBM Ring 216 in both the Yearly Close-Up Competition and the Yearly Walk-Around Competition, as well as the People’s Choice Award for the Yearly Close-Up Competition.

In 2020, Danny released his serious Coin Magic routines with help from Tom Dobrowolski, Jeremiah Zuo, Curtis Kam and Grant Gomez as a small book, which is titled as Coin Monster. He has also become an active contributor for the Disclaimer publication on Ko-fi.
Currently, Danny resides in San Francisco, California. He is also a regular performing magician at the world-famous Magic Castle in Hollywood, California, and periodically travels with Princess Cruises to provide the exclusive Spellbound by Magic Castle experience.
